Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) June 28, 2013
As part of their initiative to be an Outstanding Community Partner, Beach Properties of Hilton Head announced its support of two Hilton Head Island charities – Volunteers In Medicine (VIM) and the Deep Well Project. “We have always believed in giving back to the community that gives so much to us,” stated Ray and Linda Moloney, owners of Beach Properties of Hilton Head. “Each year we designate a portion of our earnings to support local Island charities and the people who live here.”
In support of Volunteers in Medicine, Beach Properties pledged $15,000 in support of a Dental Hygiene Room. This room, located in the Hilton Head Dental Clinic, has been named in honor of the company and its owners. This donation will allow VIM to expand the children’s dental program by allowing the clinic to see more pediatric patients. Currently, VIM sees 6,000 dental patient visits annually with about 1/3 of those being children. There is no access to affordable or free dental care in the greater Hilton Head area except for Volunteers in Medicine.
To the Deep Well Project, Beach Properties has pledged $6,000 to be used in assisting local residents in need. The Deep Well Project acts as a “safety net” for Islanders in need providing food, basic furniture, emergency shelter for displaced residents, emergency housing repairs and emergency rent and/or utilities payments. Each November and December, the organization also provides holiday meals which is an effort the staff of Beach Properties participates in by holding an office food drive and adopting a family.
Beach Properties of Hilton Head represents over 315 luxury vacation rentals in the Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes & Forest Beach communities of the island. Established in 1995, they have been voted the #1 Vacation Rental Company on Hilton Head by readers of the Island Packet in 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013.
