Kappa Alpha Theta, one of the largest fraternities for women, introduces a new brand identity, including a redesigned logo, a fresh tag line, and an updated color palette. “Our new tag line, Leading Women, reflects the long-standing mission, vision, and values of our organization,” says Amy Kates, Fraternity president. “It also appropriately represents Kappa Alpha Theta today.”
Working with Willow Marketing, Theta volunteers and staff members sought to develop a tag line that would encompass the Fraternity’s distinguished history and notable members, as well as describe an organization of women of all ages; who went to college in nearly every US state and Canadian province; who live all over the world; who have different professions, faiths, and ethnic backgrounds.
In establishing the first Greek-letter fraternity for women, Theta’s founders were leading the way for women in higher education. Now, nearly 150 years later, the Fraternity leads a woman to personal excellence, offering her ways to become her best self. Kappa Alpha Theta recognizes that every member has the capacity to create positive change in herself, in her chapter, in her Fraternity … in fact, in the world.
