RSD, the leading provider of information governance solutions, today announced a significant increased market share resulting from sales of RSD GLASS®, the organization’s patent-pending information governance platform.

Our increase in market share and revenue in the last 12 months are indicative of RSD’s leading technology in information governance,” commented Tamir Sigal, Vice President of Marketing. “We provide our customers with a best-of-breed information governance platform to help them actively enforce policies on all content, wherever it resides.”

RSD’s new customers in the last 12 months include a leading Midwest telecom provider who required centralized policy management for information across multiple and heterogeneous repositories. The provider was looking for a solution that governed information in-place to reduce storage costs and mitigate risks.

A large insurance provider in Texas made the decision to move forward with RSD GLASS to enforce policies on a vast amount of information, much of it personally identifiable information (PII). RSD GLASS helps the organization to maintain information governance policies for compliance purposes, saving the company administrative and operational costs.

A leading Swiss insurance provider was looking for an information governance solution that would include optimized email management. RSD GLASS offered them secure, granular access to records, full audit capabilities, and faster search capabilities. The initial deployment of GLASS includes specific attention to the processing of email, and will soon be deployed to all systems.

These flagship deals, among others, fueled the growth of RSD GLASS sales. RSD delivered several releases this year, enabling governance of shared drives, increasing the number of governance connectors developed for repositories, and establishing greater flexibility to adjust lifecycle policies. In March, the company also introduced IGaaS®, or information governance as a service. This provides customers with a rich set of managed services for governing information on-premise and in the cloud.
