An agreement with John Paul Pet™ will give Marietta the chance to market and distribute the pet care line to the lodging industry.

When John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell Systems™, created a new line of pet care items, an idea to approach a relatively untapped market with amenities manufacturer Marietta Corporation developed.

“Marietta Corporation already offered the Paul Mitchell™ salon product line to the hospitality market,” explained Ray Ferretti, Vice President of Marketing at Marietta. “More hotels are looking for ways to differentiate themselves and allowing family pets is one of those ways.” An agreement with John Paul Pet™ will give Marietta the chance to market and distribute the pet care line to the lodging industry.

Paul Mitchell Systems™ in-depth expertise in hair and skin care formulations also led to research in new standards for pet grooming and hygiene, creating John Paul Pet™ shampoos, conditioners, sprays and pet wipes.

DeJoria revolutionized the professional salon industry by banning animal testing for his line of hair products. John Paul Pet™ shampoos and conditioners are pH balanced so they don’t irritate sensitive pet skin and the entire line is “tested on humans first” to ensure effectiveness and safety for all pets. “By distributing the trial sized pet wipes to properties that allow pets creates a natural extension to the hotel’s existing amenity line. We are pleased to have the opportunity to help build a market and play a role in this new venture,” said Ferretti.

The full line of John Paul Pet™ products includes individually packaged Teeth & Gum wipes, Ear & Eye wipes plus Full Body and Paw Bath wipes. The line is designed to effectively clean pets while helping to improve overall health and longevity of the animals.
