The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Salt Lake City Chapter named Joan Muschamp, founder and owner of LemonZest Marketing LLC., the recipient of its annual Rising Star Award. This Award is presented annually to a woman business owner who has demonstrated entrepreneurial creativity and determination in successfully managing a business that is less than three years old.

This is exciting and humbling as well. While it’s taken a lot of effort to make the business successful, I also realize there are many deserving women business owners here who work equally hard. We are very happy we relocated here to start LemonZest.

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Salt Lake City Chapter named Joan Muschamp, founder and owner of LemonZest Marketing LLC., the recipient of its annual Rising Star Award. The NAWBO Rising Star Award is presented annually to a woman business owner who has demonstrated entrepreneurial creativity and determination in successfully managing a business that is less than three years old.

During the award ceremony on June 19th at Pierpont Place in Salt Lake City, NAWBO SLC President Janice Boes detailed the business accomplishments that Ms. Muschamp has achieved. It has been less than two years since she started the business after relocating to Salt Lake City from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Assisted by Immediate Past President Rene Johnson, they presented an engraved crystal vase and flowers to honor the awardee.

“This is exciting and humbling at the same time,” noted Ms. Muschamp. “While it’s taken a lot of effort to make this happen, I also realize there are many deserving women business owners here who work equally hard. It truly has been a labor of love, learning the Salt Lake area and creating a viable marketing business. We are very happy we relocated here.”
