Los Gatos, CA (PRWEB) June 28, 2013
Amour d’Art, the newly opened Los Gatos premier fine art gallery featuring world-renowned artists, continues to grow, welcoming Linda Lance to its marketing team as Fine Art Consultant.
Prior to this position with Amour d’Art, Linda worked extensively as an art consultant to individual collectors, interior designers, architects, and corporate buyers nationally and internationally for over a decade.
"Linda brings a wealth of experience in the art business, having served as dynamic sales professional and manager at four top Northern California galleries," states Carrie Scott, gallery owner and curator, adding, "Linda has developed invaluable vendor relationships with high-profile contemporary artists and their publishers. She offers a unique outreach to collectors to facilitate the ideal acquisitions."
Before entering the art world, Ms. Lance enjoyed a highly successful career as a fashion model in California and New York for more than 30 years.
In addition to welcoming Linda to the team, Owner/Director Carrie Scott and artist-in-residence Laurie Chase are also excited to continue their relationship. The gallery prominently features several of her original oils and watercolors, and limited editions. Ms. Chase is an award-winning artist and signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists who has showcased her work in gallery and museum exhibitions in the U.S., Mexico, and Europe.
Ms. Scott is also delighted that Media Specialist Gaia Veenis will continue writing the gallery’s material for publications. Gaia received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 2006 and has worked in the online marketing and publishing industries for nearly a decade. She recently completed a master's in English at San Francisco State University.

About Amour d’Art:
Amour d’Art owner and curator Carrie Scott worked in public relations, marketing, and sales for nearly four decades. Throughout the years she found herself purchasing artwork wherever she went. She made a point of researching each artist, studying their inspiration, and whenever possible, meeting with them to better understand the energy that sustained their creativity.
The gallery is unique because of the knowledge she brings to the buying experience. Her philosophy about art was, and still is: "Purchase What You Like - It Can Give You Joy, Comfort, and Inspiration."
