Champion Communications has won the Technology & Trade award in the PRCA DARE Awards South East 2013 for a campaign with Buffalo Technology.
We have been working with Buffalo for nearly four years and this award is testimony to the team at Buffalo and the account team at Champion, who continue to keep things fresh, imaginative, efficient and effective. This year alone has seen infographics, surveys, pub quiz events, go-kart racing journalists, product reviews and awards galore.
The competition for this award was stiff with entries from in-house teams and high profile agencies. The judges were chaired by Lord Black of The Telegraph alongside Lord Chaddlington, CEO of Huntsworth and a host of well-known communications experts from agencies and internal teams. Other judges included Capital MSL Managing Director Steffan Williams, Local Government Association Communications Director David Holdstock and Golin Harris Managing Director Matt Neale.
Richard Cook, managing director of Champion Communications, said: “This reflects a great collaborative effort. Credit is due to Buffalo's own team who we work very closely with to develop ideas and strategies that have lead to an award-winning campaign. Most importantly this has made a significant difference to their business and continues to provide us with inspiring and exciting work."
Champion was also shortlisted in the Live and Launched category for a campaign with PEER 1 Hosting.
