Nashville’s favorite rock band, The Kicks, release their new music video “1984”; the second music video from their current album, Tonight Changes Everything. Simultaneously with the launch of their video, The Kicks are currently featured as a New and Notable artist on NoiseTrade, providing fans an opportunity to download the Tonight Changes Everything at no cost.

During the creative process for the “1984” music video, the band collaborated with videographers Grant Howard, Ryan Bernal, and Austin Gros. Collectively they aimed for a look and feel of an old VHS tape to capture the nostalgia of the time period to which the song refers. The video was filmed at numerous live venues including Exit/In in Nashville, TN, Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta, GA, Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA, the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, TN, and The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC.

Tonight Changes Everything continues to celebrate and honor the best rock and roll of the last half century while simultaneously embracing many of the most impressive aspects of today's modern music scene. With the guidance and expertise of Grammy Award winning producers Mitch Dane and Vance Powell (Jack White, Raconteurs, Kings of Leon) and a collection of guitars, amps and effect pedals that in other circumstances would qualify as a decent inventory for a boutique music shop, this Kicks release is potent, focused, perfectly realized and brutally catchy.

“1984” is slated for the upcoming film, Skating to New York which will join the roster of The Kicks previously accumulated television sync placements that include, Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, Underemployed, Buck Wild, Bones, The Real World: Portland, Ready For Love, Franklin and Bash, Wake Brothers, the Lowes Spring Campaign Commercial, and the Lifetime Movie: Blue Lagoon.
