Frames Bowling Lounge in Midtown updated its homepage today to reflect the pride its establishment feels in sharing the exciting news regarding the DOMA repeal on Wednesday morning.
For many years, Frames has been a pioneer in creating a diverse environment that celebrates individualism, and welcomes all religions, sexual orientations, cultures and ethnicities.
"Our establishment is welcoming, and all my staff are like family," said Ayman Kamel, Frames Executive General Manager.
"When hiring a staff member, sexual orientation, nationality, or religious beliefs are never even discussed. A candidate's value is determined based on performance in the workplace."
JJ Palmer, recently promoted from Head of Staff to Junior Manager, raved about working with the Frames staff. "I have never felt more welcome at any other company I've worked for," he said.
Both Mr. Palmer and another member of senior management at Frames are openly gay, as well as multiple bartenders and servers; they all agree that Frames Bowling Lounge maintains an excellent and inclusive environment for both staff members and guests.
