DALLAS, TEXAS (PRWEB) June 29, 2013
Since its inception, Operation Kindness has served more than 70,000 animals in the Dallas area, caring for more than 200 animals each day at the shelter.
Every animal served by Operation Kindness is cared for in the nonprofit’s no-kill shelter or a foster home until it is adopted into a loving home. Each potential adopter is thoroughly interviewed by a trained counselor in order to find the best match for the adopter and the shelter’s pets.
“Operation Kindness is such an important part of our community,” said David Crowe, one of the Dallas food poisoning attorneys on the W.T. Johnson team. “Not only do they care for the homeless pets living in our area, but they make an effort to keep more pets from becoming homeless.”
Operation Kindness is a member of the Spay/Neuter Your Pet Coalition, and every animal adopted from the shelter is spayed or neutered in order to decrease animal overpopulation. Additionally, animals adopted through Operation Kindness come with a microchip and are registered in a national database, so if the dog gets lost, it can be easily returned to its owner.
