DALLAS, TEXAS (PRWEB) June 29, 2013
The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas serves families whose children are hospitalized with a serious illness or injury by providing a home-like environment for families to stay at little or no cost to the family.
Families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House receive three home-cooked meals each day and can rest in the organization’s Day Respite Room in between doctor’s appointments and hospital visits. The organization also gives families a chance to connect with one another for support and understanding.
“The Ronald McDonald House helps people who are facing every parent’s worst fear: a seriously ill or injured child,” said David Crowe, one of the Dallas personal injury attorneys on the W.T. Johnson team. “Because of the services they provide, families are able to put all of their energy into helping their child get healthy, while also receiving the support they need to keep going.”
Community members who would like to help the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas can volunteer, donate money or donate items. Currently, the organization needs a number of items to serve families, including granola bars, cereal, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, games for families to play and more.
