The Mobile App Global Challenge was created by South Korea’s Mobile Internet Business Association (MOIBA) to bring international attention to South Korean companies in the mobile marketplace, to educate South Korean mobile developers in global app marketing, and to inspire independent mobile development companies to compete in the larger marketplace. appsasia met and exceeded the challenges posed by MOIBA by marketing 25 different apps in the international market over a period of 4 months, resulting in 132,642 paid apps sold and 2,202,716 free app downloads, 9 of the 25 apps in the top 200 on iTunes, and a total profit of about $612,000.

Ragan’s PR Daily 2013 Awards are some of the most prestigious in the PR industry, attracting entrants from organizations like Blackberry, Walmart, and The Coca Cola Company. Notable winners in other categories include Walmart in Best Green Initiative, RF|Binder for Band Aid Brand in Best Branding Campaign, General Electric in Best Blog, and Coca-Cola in Best Website Launch.
