SOMAX, Inc. has released a new, integrated sanitation module which compliments their industry leading Asset and Maintenance Management System. The new sanitation module is built completely within their current CMMS / EAM system, and is tied directly to the standard equipment database within SOMAX, making it a completely seamless addition.

“We’d had several clients and potential clients ask about an integrated sanitation piece within our system,” stated SOMAX, Inc. CEO Roger Lawton, “They didn’t want to purchase a whole new system just to perform sanitation tasks so we took a look at the possibilities and decided that if our clients thought it was a good idea, it definitely deserved some thought from our team.”

The new module includes a completely dedicated food safety and sanitation task tracking system, and is 21 CFR Part 11 certified for time, date and user, ensuring that important food safety and sanitation tasks are clocked in and monitored every time they are performed. With repeating tasks and an intelligent scheduling feature, the SOMAX sanitation module is built for ease of use.

This is the first time that SOMAX has offered a sanitation system within their Asset and Maintenance Management System and they have built it with the end-user in mind. Each task can be quickly scheduled and rescheduled, and can be assigned based on date, frequency of equipment use, or based on inspection requirements.

The sanitation module can be used as a stand-alone software application, or can be purchased with the full SOMAX system and is available immediately for use upon software purchase. Current SOMAX clients can upgrade quickly and easily.
