(PRWEB UK) 30 June 2013
London and New York-based marketing capability consultancy Brand Learning was last night awarded 22nd place in Europe’s Best Workplaces in 2013 (best small and medium workplaces category), a list developed by Great Place to Work®. It represents an impressive rise up the table from 42nd place last year.
The annual ranking is the most comprehensive study of organizational culture in the world and identifies, on this occasion, the 100 Best Workplaces in Europe. Brand Learning was one of only six UK companies to make it into the top 30 (best small and medium workplace category).
This accolade follows Brand Learning’s success earlier in the month when it secured seventh position in the UK’s Best Workplace awards (medium sized business category).
The European ranking was announced at an awards ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland on 27th June.
Brand Learning continues to secure broad recognition both as a commercially successful business and a leader in its category and for its culture that inspires those who work there.
As well as being recognized as an outstanding employer in both the UK and European Best Workplace® initiatives it has also celebrated the first year anniversary of its first overseas office in the US, based in the New York area, which was set up to service the capability transformation needs of its substantial and growing US client portfolio. This now accounts for 20% of global Brand Learning business and recent wins include household names such as Beam, Bayer, Yum!, Colgate-Palmolive and Mozilla.
Since its inception over ten years ago, Brand Learning has worked with over 120 clients in 60 countries and over 60 percent of its business is already sourced outside the UK. Its UK and international client list is a roll call of some of the world’s most successful companies including multinational giants such as Unilever, Shell and Kellogg.
The Brand Learning Group Ltd continues to successfully build its business. It achieved 16% revenue growth in 2012 following five years of double digit growth and in its last financial year, revenue of £17 million. In the last year alone it has also secured 21 new clients including AbbVie, Beam, Colgate-Palmolive, the BBC Worldwide, Marks and Spencer, Efes and Electrolux.
Michele McGrath, chief operating officer of Brand Learning comments: “We were so proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work in the UK - but to secure this accolade on a European scale is a brilliant affirmation of the work that we do both in terms of developing our employee brand and ensuring that we are a truly inspirational place to work with world-leading practices to attract and retain the most talented individuals.
The Great Place to Work® Institute has an excellent definition of a great workplace as somewhere where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with. Since our inception we have worked really hard to weave this culture into the fabric of our business, into our ways of working and into the consultancy service we offer our clients.”
"Companies in this year's ranking are developing organizational cultures dedicated to building trust and camaraderie among their employees," said Robert Levering, co-founder and global CEO of Great Place to Work®. “Inclusion on this list reflects companies’ commitment to continuously improving the quality of life of employees and setting new standards for organisations in the future."
Brand Learning’s passion is to transform the marketing capabilities and commercial performance of people, teams and organisations across the world.
