UES Energy is judged the UK’s ‘Rising Star’

UES Energy has won a prestigious national award at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) for its work in the highly competitive energy consultancy sector.

The company landed the Rising Star Award the criteria of which was “… the energy consultancy that in the opinion of the judges is creating a stir in the marketplace and is fundamentally helping energy end users to buy their energy more efficiently and effectively.”

The award, sponsored by Hudson Energy, was received by UES Energy’s Operations Director Gruff Dodd in front of more than 400 guests from the energy industry at the London Film Museum in County Hall.

Different award categories catered for all businesses operating in the industry from major international consultancies to small, growing businesses. UES Energy chose to compete for the Rising Star Award as a small but highly successful business which is already competing with the biggest players in the industry.

Entries underwent a two-stage judging process with representatives from major energy-consuming businesses compiling shortlists which were then judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

Managing Director Andrew Diplock said: “There’s no higher accolade than to be judged to be ‘best’ by your peers. They are the people ‘in-the-know’ in the industry.

“And it couldn’t have been more timely, coming as UES Energy is celebrating its 10th year as a business.

“In that time our strong, sustained growth has taken us from a tiny start-up company to a nationwide business that can compete successfully with the biggest players in our industry for the biggest contracts in the UK and – most importantly of all – still deliver the best results for our clients.

“The secret of our success, of course, is no secret at all; it’s all down to hard work, our commitment to expertise and our determination to add value to our clients’ businesses.

“And on that basis I must offer my heartfelt thanks to the UES Energy team whose outstanding performance has enabled this to happen and also to our clients whose loyalty and support has made an enormous contribution to our success.”
