Murtagh & Muscardini Elite Wine Event Will Be Held At The Home of Paul and Theresa Murtagh To Benefit Cityteam Chester’s Programs For the Homeless and Low-Income Families

This summer, Cityteam Chester, a non-profit organization serving low-income families and the homeless throughout the greater Delaware Valley will be the recipient of a premier wine event held at the home of Paul and Theresa Murtagh. At this event over one hundred and forty people will experience an evening full of the award-winning wines from Muscardini Cellars from the Sonoma Valley paired with selected cheeses from 320 Market East, and gourmet balsamic vinaigrettes & olive oil tastings by A Taste of Olive. Also attendees will experience chocolates from Bevans Candy and cannoli’s from VISO’s. These are just a few of the local partners in Media and West Chester who are supporting this wonder cause.

" This will be an extraordinary event where local partners in our community are bringing the finest food tastings to this benefit. They are all doing it for a great cause - to help make sure Cityteam has enough resources to care for local low-income families and the homeless," said Macaira Koch, Development, Cityteam Chester.

Paul and Theresa Mutagh are providing their beautiful home for this special social event because giving back to local non-profits like Cityteam Chester is a priority for the Mutagh family.

Wine expert Michael Muscardini will be on hand to take guests through a hand crafted selection of his award winning wines. Muscardini Cellars is home to handmade, limited edition Sonoma Valley wines. Their mission is to create an avenue for artistic expression that one can drink and enjoy and promote the artisan handcrafted winemaking.

Cityteam Chester is a non-profit organization helping the low-income and homeless population by providing hot meals, emergency food boxes, safe shelter, showers, clean clothing, counseling, case-management, education, computer training, career enhancement, long-term recovery program and a mother and baby program serving over 500 mothers and 2,000 children with diapers, formula and other essential care. Cityteam Chester has been serving the people living in extreme poverty in the Greater Delaware Valley since 1987.
