New York, NY (PRWEB) June 28, 2013
Veteran rock band The Eagles is adding more dates to their already extensive "History of the Eagles Tour." At least 10 new dates have been added to the series of shows which is set to start on July 6 at Louisville, Kentucky. The concert tour was originally scheduled to end on October 24. However, the enduring group has added performances in Montreal and Toronto. Shortly after, they will be going back to the States for performances in New York, and Birmingham, AL. The tour will wrap up in Orlando on November 23rd.
The group has had an impressive run through their career. However, the tour is in part tied to the DVD and Blu-ray release of a documentary "The History of the Eagles." The documentary chronicles the rise of the Eagles in the music industry as well as shows the highlights of their career.
The group is composed of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit. Together, they will be performing signature hits which include "Hotel California," "New Kid In Town," "Take It To The Limit," "One Of These Nights," "Lyin’ Eyes," "Rocky Mountain Way," "Best Of My Love" and "Take It Easy." Additonally, the members will also be performing their own hit songs during the concert.
What is the History of the Eagles?
The iconic group’s documentary is a three-disc set that fans and music enthusiasts are sure to appreciate and enjoy. Fans will also get to see a never-before-released set of performances which were filmed during the Eagles’ two-night stint at Washington, D.C.’s Capital Center. This took place on the legendary Hotel California tour.
Throughout the years, The Eagles have proven themselves as a formidable rock band. The band has sold more than 120 million albums all over the world. Together, they have won six Grammy awards and earned 5 #1 U.S. singles. Their smash hit Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is considered as the best-selling album of all time, surpassing sales of 29 million pieces. Of course, The Eagles are on the elite list of artists and bands that have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
