Leading footwear manufacturer for designer shoes,, is finally moving to upgrade its 6 year-old website to offer a more modern, easier to navigate user experience. While this manufacturer of women’s and men’s traditional shoes and athletic footwear does most of its production for existing shoe brands, special effort will still be made on the new site for education and entry of new shoe designers and footwear brands, according to Winnie Peng, Senior Project Manager for

Experienced shoe importers often come to us because of a bad experience or from a referral from someone who knows about our dedication to quality, good communication and small quantities to give them a more competitive advantage.

In the world of the Internet and web site creation, 6 years is an eternity but that’s how long ’s deep blue “Opening Curtain” website theme has welcomed footwear importers, shoe wholesalers and retailers and fashion shoe designers from around the world.

Despite its “vintage look”, the site has been at the top page of Google search in shoe manufacturing for over half a decade, standing out from the compilation sites like Alibaba, GlobalSources and YellowPages because of its rich, content based information offered to any company or shoe designer looking to “make my shoes”.

As a leading footwear manufacturer, knows most people don’t wake up in the morning with a sudden desire to order 200 pair of high heels. Most clients are already in the footwear business, either as shoe retailers or wholesalers or as independent footwear designers who already have established clientele of their own.

But unlike many China manufacturers who demand existing high volume before they’ll take an inquiry seriously, has maintained an open door to new shoe designers or those who have never actually gone though the manufacturing process themselves before, and they plan to reflect that policy in the layout of their new website.

“Most of the clients coming to are already experienced buyers and familiar with working with shoe factories,” says Winnie Peng.

“Experienced shoe importers often come to us sometimes because of a bad experience in working with other manufacturers, or sometimes from a referral from someone who knows about our dedication to quality, good communication and our special effort to produce their designs in small quantities quickly to give them a more competitive advantage.

“As for first-time designers and shoe importers, it’s true that we sometimes make very little on the often small, initial orders when we consider all the time needed to work with first timers, but it gives us a great feeling of pride and satisfaction to look back over the years at the many, many new brands we've helped to create, all over the world." is hoping to finish the transition to the new site within by mid-July 2013 to be ready for possible increase in new inquiries following the upcoming showcasing of the Dogma thigh-high sandal on TV’s Project Runway, which produced for the rising designer brand, Haus Von Lila.
