MyOVS®, a Microsoft and SAP Gold certified partner that specializes in integrating ERP systems to Microsoft SharePoint® and mobile applications, announced this morning that NPL Construction, one of the nation’s leading natural gas pipeline construction companies, is now in production with the MyOVS Time Management Solution for the iPad and SharePoint.
NPL has undertaken an effort to automate field service operations to increase speed and accuracy of data and decrease their costs associated with manual data entry. For example, foremen working at job sites will now be equipped with tablets with key applications to help them do their job faster and easier. One specific application is the MyOVS Time Management solution that allows foremen to enter and manage the time worked for their work crews. The solution integrates to their SAP® ERP system.

Having just gone live, NPL will now roll out the time management solution along with several other field service applications to their offices across the country. A campaign has begun to roll out the field service automation solutions, gather feedback, and drive adoption.
