American Support: Proven Telesales Results For Over 20 Years

"...our ideal candidates don’t want a career path in telesales. They want a good job, for now."
President & CEO Matt Zemon

Chapel Hill, NC (PRWEB) July 08, 2013

American Support is taking a wildly different approach to hiring by telling its applicants that they are “supposed to quit this job”, to “step all over us” and even going so far as saying “don’t work for us.”

American Support has been providing telesales services for over 20 years and believes that its applicants will find this type of straight talk during the hiring process refreshing.

“Many contact centers talk about career paths and advancement opportunity and the reality is that with few exceptions, these opportunities don’t exist,” said company President and CEO Matt Zemon. “Even more important, our ideal candidates don’t want a career path in telesales. They want a good job, for now. They then want to move on with their lives. We understand and respect that.”

A significant amount of the American Support team comes from three specific demographics: college students, work-at-home moms and military spouses. According to American Support these three groups are a significant part of its 20-year track record of telesales success for many of the largest companies in America.

“We have been teaching people how to sell for 20 years,” Zemon continues. “College students, work-at-home moms and military spouses are typically over educated and under employed. We are a stepping stone job for them and they are excellent employees for us. This hiring campaign is our way of embracing this relationship for what it is- temporary and mutually beneficial.”

American Support has always been a different kind of company. While many call centers were moving off shore, American Support changed its name from "Evergreen Sales & Marketing" to “American Support” to celebrate the fact that it has 100% U.S.-based contact centers.

In the next 90 days American Support needs to hire over 200 employees to work in one of its three Florida call centers, its Tennessee call center or as a work-at-home employee in the 20+ states they hire in.

While there are a 9 different recruiting advertisements currently being run by American Support in its push to find 200 employees, three that are getting particular attention are:

We understand all that. Come work with us for a while. We know how to sell and how to teach anyone how to sell; We’ve been doing this for more than 20 years.
