With the declining number of first home buyers in Australia after the global financial crisis, Rick Otton- author of How To Buy A House For A Dollar- invites Aussies to try his creative real estate processes so they can start buying or selling real estate property, again, even without cash or credit.
“The main reason behind the decline is because the banks are not lending any cash at the moment,” Mr. Otton discussed during a recent Creative Real Estate podcast. “This happened because Australian banks actually get the money for the home loans they approve from international banks, and since the banking system around the world is in trouble there is little or no money left to lend for Aussie home buyers,” he explained.
As a result, Mr. Otton claimed that many Aussies, especially young people and the self-employed, are locked out of the chance to get financing for the house they want to buy.
“But even if the banks are not approving new home loans, it doesn’t mean that there are no more home loans which the creative buyer can use to get real estate property,” he shared. “In fact, there are thousands of mortgages available right now and their owners are scrambling to get rid of them in an instant,” he added.
“So I thought of a new process that brings together people who no longer want to pay their home loan with people who want one and are willing make the payments for them,” Mr. Otton said during the podcast.
“Using this creative real estate process, buyers and sellers can agree on a payment term which can benefit them both,” he said. “Buyers get to live in a house that they own, while sellers get to sell their real estate property at the price they want.”
“New problems cannot be solved by old solutions, that’s why it’s about time to try a new process which can meet the changing and complicated demands of these modern times,” according to Mr. Otton.
