The Care Continuum Alliance, the voice of the population health, today announced the keynote speakers for the its annual conference, CCA Forum 2013, to be held October 23-25, in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the theme, The Value of Population Health: Implementation Matters.
The rapid change in the industry, the looming deadlines of the Affordable Care Act and the renewed interest in wellness and incentives, guided CCA Forum 2013´s focus on showcasing for employers the implementation and evaluation of population health programs and their benefits.
“This year´s CCA Forum 2013 covers a very wide range of the most salient practical, regulatory and policy issues for the population health and the wellness industry,” said Fred Goldstein, CCA interim Executive Director. “Our focus on the implementation and evaluation of population health programs runs thorough all the educational sessions, the exhibit hall and the exceptional line-up of speakers.”
“Our Visionaries Series will feature industry leaders from Banner Health Network, Aetna, Walgreens, Big Data, Optum Labs, Mayo Clinic, Qualcomm Life who will discuss accountable care organizations and population health management, mHealth, and big data,” said Goldstein.
“The Innovators Forum on Thursday features Former Surgeon General Richard Carmona, President of the Board of Director of, Canyon Ranch Institute; and David P. Kirchoff, CEO, Weight Watchers discussing their organizations role and place in the population health landscape,” said Goldstein.
