Study Scavenger and Just Another Lab Rat! (JALR.org) have entered into an alliance agreement, bringing together the Country’s most prominent early phase clinical research website and the first bi-lingual smartphone app to enhance and expedite research subject recruitment and enrollment in early phase clinical trials. This alliance will allow hundreds of thousands of potential research subjects to conduct mobile searches for clinical research studies that meet their need. This alliance will improve the recruitment efforts of the research site and decrease time to meet enrollment requirements. Studies have demonstrated the superiority of the mobile phone as the best form of contact.
Study Scavenger is the first bilingual smartphone app to allow subjects to search by their current location or by using an advanced search feature that enables subjects to locate clinical research studies by entering criteria such as age, gender, health conditions, distance willing to travel and desired stipend.
As a result of this alliance, JALR.org will now offer an automated research study posting feature. This feature allows Sponsors CROs and Research Sites to: (1) submit IRB approved clinical research study details for approval by JALR and Study Scavenger; and (2) to have their studies posted to JALR.org’s website and Study Scavenger’s website and smartphone app in real time. Also for the first time, research subjects will be able to register to be notified of new studies posted on Study Scavenger and JALR.org. Sponsors, CROs and Research Sites will have access to metric reports identifying the activity and traffic of research subjects, utilizing the companies’ combined resources.
