Huge libraries of long, boring courses don’t change behavior or help people to perform their jobs better. It’s a checklist item, just one more task your employees have to complete.

ej4, LLC, a leader in the performance improvement industry, recently launched a new video series called "What’s Your Problem?"
The series was created to address common workplace problems like developing a successful work-from-home program, increasing sales product knowledge, and communicating more effectively in teams. "What’s Your Problem?" is short, to the point and relevant to the issue at hand, much like all of the training tools created by ej4.
ej4 has a mission to change the workplace training industry with tools and resources that are direct responses to a specific problem. CEO Ryan Eudy says, “Huge libraries of long, boring courses don’t change behavior or help people to perform their jobs better. It’s a checklist item, just one more task your employees have to complete.” Eudy continues, “We created this series to look at problems a lot of companies are having. We talked to them, we asked questions, and then we used our style of instructional design - with a touch of humor - to address them.”
The premiere episode Secret to Being a Great Salesperson addressed a concern from a CEO that his sales team may not have the product knowledge necessary to make the sale. Studio Manager, Thorsten Fraley says, “We fully embraced the green screen to create a late-night talk show to make learning, and addressing problems, a little more fun.”
The video explained that with the influx of content marketing and consumer-driven reviews available online, a sales representative must become more of a product ambassador. They have to know their product, and that of their competitor, inside and out. A great salesperson needs to be able to ask the right questions and truly understand the needs of the client before they can ever consider selling their product.
“We must truly understand the needs of a company before we can ever make a product recommendation. "What’s Your Problem?" is our way of talking about the problems we hear every day and offering effective, affordable solutions,” says CMO, Rick Michael. Michael continues, “While we do talk about our solutions, it’s about them [the company] and their needs. And more often than not, we can help.”
