A cloud software expert specializing in digital media, HTML5 and mobile, Steve Davi will share his insights on using standards to overcome fragmentation in the mobile consumer experience. He will discuss how major app players like Apple and Google, service providers and device manufacturers can work together to solve the content, application, and fragmentation problem by developing standards within HTML5.
Prior to his current position, Davi was CTO at SeaChange International, where he was responsible for overall software technology architecture and company strategy related to product design, system planning and industry standards. Prior to SeaChange, Davi worked at Banyan Systems and Data General in software engineering leadership and contributor roles. He is an experienced speaker, having recently keynoted at the Agile New England Conference.
Davi also was recently named the head of Synacor’s new Boston office. His engineering team is focusing on a single ID that unlocks all of a consumer’s media and communications.
