When we are hired to do a service event, we get repeat business because they know when they call us, it will be done right. In contracting, we carry over the same type of philosophy.

Driver Technology Consulting, LLC, an IT recruiting, staffing, and workforce solutions company based in Jackson, Miss., is adding contract staffing to its service offerings and will be providing contractors to an internationally known IT company.
Established in 1993, Driver Technology Consulting had previously focused most of its efforts on directly providing IT services to clients, particularly in the areas of cloud-based computing, structured cabling, wireless connectivity, business broadband, and video surveillance solutions, according to Morris Driver, the firm’s Project Manager. They have added contract staffing in a desire to grow the business and provide a richer service offering to their clients. They are able to place software developers, project/program managers, business consultants, IT help desk agents, information systems architects, technical consultants, and more on contract assignments.
“We are dependable and we pay attention to details,” said Driver, who has more than 17 years of experience in recruiting and IT servicing. “When we are hired to do a service event, we get repeat business because they know when they call us, it will be done right. In contracting, we carry over the same type of philosophy.”
For more than a year, Driver pursued getting on the approved supplier list to provide contractors to an international IT company. They recently received word that they have been accepted.
“We will be providing contractors for short- and long-term projects,” Driver said. “We will be responsible for staffing entire projects with positions ranging from help desk personnel to network architects, program managers, and project managers.” Interested candidates should forward resumes to contractresources(at)dtc-ms(dot)com or visit the firm’s website at http://www.dtc-ms.com for updates.
Driver Technology Consulting will be placing those contract workers through the contract staffing back-office services of Top Echelon Contracting (TEC). As a full-service back-office since 1992, TEC becomes the legal employer of contractors, handling all of the financial, administrative, and legal details of a contract placement. Those details include payroll funding and processing, legal contracts with clients and candidates, background checks, contractor benefits, contractor paperwork, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, and invoicing and collections.
