School Improvement Network, the leader in educator effectiveness resources, today released a new video on driving student success from the LumiBook, “Global Education Study: Six Drivers of Student Success.” The video segment highlights personalization techniques and pathways for student success.

“Finding and replicating the best strategies for student success is essential in our cause of helping 100 percent of students become college and career ready,” said Chet Linton, CEO and president of School Improvement Network. “The strategies for student success in this global education study are some of the best we’ve seen in our 21 years of collecting best practices in education, and give educators more resources to increase their own effectiveness and student success.”

The video includes strategies for increasing student success through personalization, such as the following:

  •     Focus on the well-being of individual children
  •     Create a transition gateway from elementary to secondary to postsecondary education
  •     Use core competencies and educational programs relevant to students’ personal and career interest to spur student success and meet overall economic needs
