Dr. Gandhi will bring to Datafield is tremendous experience about data collection in emerging and developing markets. Dr Valentine Joseph Gandhi is a Social and Implementation Scientist. He is currently with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Consortium based in Addis Aababa,Ethiopia. He is also the founder of The Development CAFÉ a Nairobi based think tank that works on building capacity through use of ICT Tools, Research and Advocacy for NGOs, Governments and other stakeholders.
Dr Gandhi specializes in applying research into practice and policy, Impact Evaluation, ICT tools for Research and Knowledge Management and Organizational Capacity Building. Prior to this he was with the USAID Project on Implementation Science Investment in Zambia and earlier with UNDP ATMS Project in Kenya. He has been in Africa for the last 5 years. He is a citizen of India and before moving to Africa he has worked with several national and international organizations and governments around the world. His area of expertise will help Datafield provides the best possible services for developing countries in bridging the technology divide.
