While you will take care in trying to protect the safety of your customers, it can be difficult to predict if a violent attack will take place on your premises.

West Midlands Police have released CCTV footage of a vicious unprovoked attack at a pub in Wolverhampton that left a man with a fractured skull and eye socket reports the Birmingham Mail on August 6.

The video footage from the toilets, released by police, shows the two men in conversation with the victim before one of the attackers head-butts him. The second attacker then grabs the man and punches him around the face.

Detective constable Joanne Dyer, from West Midlands Police CID, said: “This was a nasty attack on a man while using the male toilets inside the pub which left him with serious injuries.”

As experts in security systems, AlertSystems stress the importance of a CCTV security system for pubs and other businesses to protect their patrons.

A spokesperson from AlertSystems said:

“While you will take care in trying to protect the safety of your customers, it can be difficult to predict if a violent attack will take place on your premises. By installing CCTV, you can ensure that if anything out of your power does happen, you have the means to identify the attacker and provide full evidence to the police.”
