Peter Crouch is an English footballer who plays for Premier League club Stoke City as a striker. He was capped 42 times by the England national team from 2005 to 2010, scoring 22 goals for his country in that time.

On 31 August 2011, Stoke City announced the signing of Crouch from Tottenham for a club record fee of £10 million which could rise to £12 million on a four-year contract. Speaking after sealing his move to theBritannia Stadium, Crouch revealed that his former Tottenham Hotspur colleague Jonathan Woodgate was a major influence upon his decision to join Stoke.

On 2 January 2012 against Blackburn, Crouch scored both goals in a 2–1 victory for Stoke, it was a landmark achievement for Crouch as he surpassed 100 league goals.
