A proven, dynamic leader in the hotel industry, who specializes in the Executive Meeting Center concept, Namour’s affiliation with IACC goes as far back as 1987 when she was a part of the pioneering conference center company Harrison Conference Centers. While part of HCC, Lisa was appointed to transition the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center St. Louis to the Hilton family, followed by the opening of the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center in 2000. She later spent several years in various traditional hotels with both Four Seasons and Starwood Hotels International. She joined Thayer Lodging Group in 2009 at their Wyndham Miami Hotel, where she was part of the team that transitioned the Miami property to the Sheraton Miami Airport & Executive Meeting Center in 2011. Lisa's best known for creating strong productive sales teams and working diligently with her teams to provide companies and organizations a level of sales delivery and service that is both distinctive and memorable.
She joins the team at Florida’s only IACC, Silver LEED Certified and PURE Allergy Friendly property which was recently featured on the TLC show Four Weddings, winning the competition and taking first place for food. The hotel’s Executive Meeting Center promotes the business community by providing spaces for business related events such as board meetings, workshops, seminars and executive retreats. It features the latest touchscreen digital technology for all signage, as well as PURE Allergy Friendly technology, which eliminates 99.9% of allergens and dust particles for a healthier experience.
In addition, everything in the EMC is culled from green and recycled material, including chairs furnished from recycled bicycles and seatbelts, lamp shades from stoplight covers, and recycled countertops, all sporting a contemporary and modern vibe that stands on the cutting edge of the event world. The wood paneling is reclaimed Cyprus swamp wood from logs that have been salvaged from canals since the time of wholesale logging, while the ceramic tile is made from recycled glass. Outside, The Garden Terrace Pavilion provides the perfect setting for outdoor events or wedding ceremonies, accented by a picturesque backdrop. Likewise, the hotel’s beautiful outdoor pool boasts a relaxing, tropical feel, surrounded by lush landscaping, a haven for casual outdoor events and special occasions.
