Alex Raymond, Founder and CEO of Kapta, a global provider of CEO business communications software, has been nominated for the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the annual APEX conference. The APEX Awards recognizes Colorado’s technology excellence highlighting remarkable leaders and innovators. This prestigious event has been hosted since 2001 by Colorado Technology Association (CTA) to honor the success of hundreds of deserving leaders in technology. The winners will be announced on Tuesday September 10, 2013 during the APEX Awards gala to be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Denver.
Nominations for the APEX Awards were determined by scores from a panel of high-caliber judges from top-tier businesses and technology professionals within the Colorado technology community.
Since the program’s inception in 2000, CTA’s Apex Awards have been awarded to outstanding technology companies and executives that demonstrate leadership in social entrepreneurship and contribute to technological innovation. Presented in nine categories for companies and individuals, the awards recognize success, innovation, vision, leadership, excellence in innovation and community contributions.
Kapta was nominated based on its innovative strategy execution software, which help CEO’s track, align and communicate mission-critical goals, translating their vision into increased productivity, improved customer service and ROI. Their Colorado customers include Inspirato, TapInfluence, Gold Systems, eSoft and Hyde Engineering.
“Kapta is deploying communications solutions that have significant impact on a CEO’s strategy and bottom line – driving revenue growth and reducing costs and risks,” said Raymond. “We are honored to be nominated for this prestigious award and to be amongst Colorado’s finest.”
