Park Avenue Fertility is pleased to announce new accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for their Connecticut fertility offices. Recently Park Avenue has also become a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Accreditation through CAP holds the clinic to a high level of patient care, and their laboratory to standards of excellence already practiced by Park Avenue Fertility. A leader in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Park Avenue offers some of the highest IVF success rates in Connecticut. IVF is a treatment option for traditional couples, single intended families, and gay or lesbian partnerships who are planning on growing their family.

CAP is the largest association of internationally recognized, board-certified pathologists and pathologists in-training across the world. Founded in 1946, the society’s aim was to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and accountable care to patients. To date they have had the most effect on the improvement and standardization of clinical laboratory practice than any other group. Centers that are accredited through CAP must adhere to strict regulations and a guideline of requirements. These guidelines continuously improve to reflect improvements in technology and can be determined by the size and scope of the laboratory.

Determining the cause of infertility is essential for finding treatment. Through various testing, Park Avenue Fertility founder Dr. Andrew Levi can help patients determine if treatments such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), or the use of donated eggs or sperm can result in a successful pregnancy.

Certification with CAP means patients can generally expect:
Reduced risks and errors
Regulated Costs
Improved patient care
Strengthened quality standards

Park Avenue Fertility has been helping couples build their families since being founded in 2005.
