Inc magazine released its rankings for the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America, and Punchkick Interactive, a Chicago-based mobile marketing company, has placed #961 on the list. Additionally, the company ranked #46 on the list of fastest growing Chicago-based companies, and #51 in the state of Illinois.

Punchkick Interactive has experienced staggering growth over the past 12 months, and the momentum doesn't appear to be waning. "Just a few years ago, one of our primary focuses was in educating clients about the value of the mobile space, and crafting mobile initiatives for the early adopters who recognized where this medium was headed," said Zak Dabbas, Co-Founder and CEO of Punchkick Interactive. "Today, our biggest focus is on managing our growth as a tidal wave of mobile opportunities presents itself. We’re just so excited about where Punchkick is headed--we’ve already nearly doubled our growth in the first half of 2013."

Punchkick was founded at a time when marketing via mobile devices was a fledgling market. "We like to joke that we're from before the days of the iPhone," says company Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Ryan Unger. "We've seen the industry change in ways we never thought imaginable."

It's precisely this shift in landscape that has created a colossal demand for the types of mobile marketing services that an agency like Punchkick Interactive offers. Smartphones have opened consumers' eyes to the mobile web, mobile apps, and other unique ways that brands and consumers can communicate.

"We're constantly asked where the mobile market is headed," says Dabbas, "and I've stopped trying to determine that direction. If you told me devices like the iPhone were headed our way back in 2006, I wouldn't have believed it. Fast-forward another few years from now and it's astonishing to try and consider where we'll be. This is one landscape that will continue to evolve in ways we can't imagine—and we’re loving every minute of it."
