“The first goal was to make the site better for clients and visitors. In listening to user comments we figured out that the site needed to be easier to read and navigate,” says CEO David Kolbe. “And with the continuing trend toward mobile and tablet devices, we also needed to build the site to work better on different screens. We also made big changes to the back-end of the site so we can make updates and improvements to respond to user suggestions and social media opportunities.”
Kolbe’s team worked tirelessly over the course of the last three months to accomplish these goals. First, they learned the ins and outs of a new content management system; second, they designed and built the website; and third, they built an interface for the secure part of the site where Kolbe products are purchased and Indexes are taken and accessed.
The navigation is simpler and information is easier to find with the menu divided into the main categories of Solutions, Assessments, Why Kolbe, Online Store and My Account. The organization of the site makes it easier for clients to find Kolbe’s solutions for personnel assessments, selection, strategic HR consulting, personal relationships, parenting and career development.
By making the Kolbe A™ Index more accessible, the new website is another step toward Kolbe’s ultimate mission: to help people understand their own and each other’s conative strengths and use that understanding to improve their lives in the ways they care about most.
