For the second consecutive year, Australia’s peak travel industry body has recognised Corporate Traveller as the best in the business.
Corporate Traveller was named ‘Best Travel Agency Corporate – Multi Location’ at the 2013 Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), National Travel Industry Awards in Sydney.
Corporate Traveller beat off competition from four other short-listed candidates, after making it to the finalists stage and then impressing a panel of six judges.
The 2013 awards was one of the most fiercely contested ceremonies in recent years, making Corporate Traveller’s win an even greater achievement.
This year, General Manager for Corporate Traveller in QLD, NSW and ACT, Astrid Richardson and Sales Leader Robert Dell were tasked with presenting the business’ growth and success during the past 12 months, to AFTA judges.
Astrid said Corporate Traveller was ecstatic to win the award for two years running.
“This is an outstanding achievement for Corporate Traveller and our national team of travel and account managers, and sales professionals,” she said.
“Corporate Traveller’s outstanding record for customer retention and ability to win new business has allowed it to perform strongly over the past year despite increasing competition in the corporate travel market.
“The past 12 months has been financially tough for a lot of industries so we have been really focused on giving our clients travel management service and advice that provides tangible bottom-line savings for them.
“Customers now more than ever want value for money and insight into travel management that is going to position them for long-term gains no matter how small or large their operation. We recognise this and have tailored our service to ensure we’re meeting their needs across all areas of business travel management.”
Corporate Traveller is part of the Flight Centre Limited (FCL) group of brands. Corporate Traveller specialises in managing business travel for small-to-medium sized companies, has 102 offices throughout Australia and operates in six countries around the world.
