On 22 August 2013 at a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court, Judge Anthony Goldstone QC sentenced Mawdsley (case number T20137114) to a 6 year jail term and was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register and has been banned from contacting the victim or associating with any girl under 16 without guardian permission.
