Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) September 04, 2013
Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. is pleased to announce the launch of Touchdowns for Craig 2013 – a fundraiser on behalf of Denver’s world-renowned Craig Hospital. Every time the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Buffaloes score a touchdown this 2013 football season, the Burg Simpson law firm will make a generous donation to the Craig Hospital Foundation, helping to fund vital research for spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. Touchdowns for Craig 2013 will be promoted live throughout the entire season during in-game commentary on Denver’s 850KOA radio station – the official home of Denver Broncos and Colorado Buffaloes football.
Peter W. Burg, senior shareholder of Burg Simpson, past Chair of the Craig Hospital Board of Directors, and current member of both the Craig Hospital Operating Board and the Craig Hospital Foundation Board, said, “ As a lawyer focused on cases involving traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, I have seen first-hand the devastating effects these injuries can have on people and their families. The staff at Craig Hospital does remarkable work in helping to rehabilitate individuals with spinal cord and traumatic brain injury.”
First launched in 2010, Burg Simpson’s Touchdowns for Craig has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Craig Hospital, the Craig Hospital Foundation, and helped raised awareness about the dangers of traumatic brain injuries. “Colorado is fortunate to have a renowned facility like Craig Hospital in our community and Burg Simpson is proud to help raise money and awareness for the benefit of survivors of spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries,” added Mr. Burg.
