The 41 year old woman, who was from nearby Rayleigh, suffered no long-lasting injuries from the incident.

Experts in CCTV security systems, AlertSystems understand the importance of installing CCTV in businesses and recognise how these systems can help police with their enquiries. A spokesperson for the company offered their comments:
“Unfortunately incidents such as fights can occur in pubs and whilst business owners will put steps in place to protect their patrons from these incidents, it can be difficult to predict their occurrence and prevent them from happening. This is where the installation of a CCTV security system can offer further protection to staff and customers and, if an incident does occur, information from the system can be used by police to further their enquiries.”
