HealthMEDX and Greystone Healthcare Announce EMR & Interoperability Partnership

Greystone Healthcare has selected HealthMEDX as their partner in automating post-acute care business and clinical functions, connecting to strategic partners, and driving technology enabled care transitions and care coordination.

Greystone Healthcare Management has selected HealthMEDX as their complete health information technology solution. Greystone will implement the Vision solution for their EMR, financial and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. In addition, Greystone will implement the Exchange Platform to enable health system connectivity and the iCare physician Care Coordination platform to automate smooth, effective care transitions. Driving this decision is Greystone’s commitment to providing advanced technology to seamlessly manage patient care throughout their transitional care and LTPAC facilities.

Greystone will utilize the Vision solution to establish a single electronic record and care plan for each patient. In addition to automating clinical processes to drive quality, Vision's CRM module will enable Greystone to strengthen relationships with hospital partners and to transition patients into the appropriate post-acute care facility as quickly and seamlessly as possible. The new technology will facilitate more efficient patient transfers and ensure continuity in care protocols after patients’ transition into the post-acute setting. “We selected HealthMEDX Vision because we needed a system that will allow us to promote our unique services and help us to identify those patients who will most benefit from our care. It is also essential that the technology allows us to capture critical patient information so that care protocols are maintained after patients are discharged from the hospital into our care,” said Connie Bessler, CEO, Greystone Healthcare Management.

As part of their focus on building strategic partnerships to enhance care coordination, Greystone will provide their physician partners with the mobile iCare platform enabling real-time access to patient charts from any location. “Physicians play a critical role in the care of our patients. They need access to patient records no matter where they are to review progress, sign documents, and provide general care plan oversight. HealthMEDX’s iCare solution will provide our physicians with this ability, allowing us to further streamline communications and turnaround times,” Bessler stated.

Another key driver in Greystone’s selection of the HealthMEDX Vision Solution was the need for a highly sophisticated financial system that is integrated across all care settings and payors to better support Greystone’s proactive work with payors and other referral partners. By automating core business functions and financial reporting across all locations, Greystone will achieve the highest level of overall efficiencies, benefitting patients, referral partners and payors.
