SceneTap, a Chicago-based data technology company that provides hospitality and nightlife businesses with real-time consumer behavior insights, has been named a finalist for the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center’s (CEC) Chicago’s Coolest Startup Award. SceneTap has also been recognized as a finalist and People’s Choice Award contender for the Chicago Innovation Awards and made the shortlist for this year’s Appsters Awards in the Best App Technology category.
As one of more than 200 startups nominated for Chicago’s Coolest Startup award, SceneTap is now one of three startups that will present onstage in front of 1,000 people at the Momentum Awards on October 2 in Chicago. SceneTap was named a finalist after an initial cut by judges, a round of public voting and a pitch contest in front of a panel of judges and live audience.
Recognized as a top 100 finalist for the Chicago Innovation Award, SceneTap is also a contender for the People’s Choice Award. Chicago Innovation Award winners will be announced at the 12th annual awards ceremony on October 30 in Chicago.
In addition to the Chicago-based awards, SceneTap has been shortlisted as a finalist for the international Appsters Awards in the category of Best App Technology. The Appsters Awards, held in conjunction with the Apps World event, will announce winners on October 22 in London.
