Greenberg Traurig Miami Co-Managing Shareholder Jaret L. Davis And Shareholder Marlon D. Goldstein Chosen As '40 Under 40 Rising Stars’ by The Daily Business Review

Jaret L. Davis, co-managing shareholder, and Marlon D. Goldstein, shareholder, both with the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, have been named by the Daily Business Review as “40 Under 40 Rising Stars.”

A panel of Daily Business Review judges selected Davis and Goldstein after reviewing more than 125 nominations of local attorneys 40 years old and younger. The attorneys selected are respected for their contributions to the practice of law as well as to their communities and are well positioned to become the top lawyers of tomorrow.

The Daily Business Review honored Davis, Goldstein and the other winners at a reception for the Rising Stars on Sept. 18 at the Bankers Club in downtown Miami. The newspaper also published their profiles that day in a special section.

“We are excited that Jaret and Marlon were both selected for this well-deserved recognition, which is a testament to their excellence and leadership as attorneys and as members of our South Florida community,” said Matt Gorson, Co-Chairman of Greenberg Traurig.

In his role as co-managing shareholder at the Greenberg Traurig Miami office, Davis oversees approximately 160 attorneys and 200 business staff members based in the firm’s founding office. A shareholder in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group focusing on domestic and international transactions within the mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and credit markets arenas, Davis has represented numerous companies with an industry focus on the IT and health care/biotech sectors.

Goldstein focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and financing transactions. He also co-chairs the firm's National Gaming Practice Group, a multidisciplinary team of attorneys representing owners, operators and developers of gaming facilities, manufacturers and suppliers of gaming devices, investment banks and lenders in financing transactions, and Indian tribes in the development and financing of gaming facilities.

In addition to their achievements in the field of law, both attorneys are well known for their community leadership and have received numerous prestigious awards and accolades throughout their careers.
