Porpoise Evans, a litigation shareholder at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been appointed to the Executive Council of The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section. In this role, he will help to chart the course of the section during his one-year term.

A respected member of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Practice Group, Evans focuses his law practice on counseling public and private companies and represents their interests in connection with government investigations and legal disputes. He has a wide range of experience in securities litigation, including FINRA and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) arbitrations, commercial litigation, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, American Disabilities Act (ADA) litigation and employment counseling and litigation.
Evans’ current active professional and community involvement includes serving as: Adjunct Clinical Faculty and Advisory Board Member, University of Miami School of Law Center for Ethics and Public Service; Advisory Council Member, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, Alumni Development Advisory Council; Board Member, Arts & Business Council of Miami, Board of Trustees; Board Member, Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., Board of Directors; Co-Chair, Brown University Alumni, Miami Schools Committee; and Mentor, John W. Kozyak Minority Law Student Mentoring Program.
Evans received a juris doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
