New luxury scented candle pays homage to the legacy of Evelyn H. Lauder, founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

PASSION Candle

We are so grateful to Laura Slatkin and NEST Fragrances for creating this very special candle to benefit the Foundation. BCRF was Evelyn’s passion, and it is so fitting that such a beautiful candle has been created to honor that.

NEST Fragrances (NEST), a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury scented products for the bath, body and home, today announced the debut of PASSION, a fragranced candle that will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and translational research worldwide. Debuting this week in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, PASSION is available for purchase at luxury specialty retail department and boutique stores across the United States.

"PASSION honors the memory and the extraordinary achievements of Evelyn H. Lauder," said Laura Slatkin, founder and CEO of NEST Fragrances. "Her passion and dedication to finding a cure for and preventing breast cancer by establishing The Breast Cancer Research Foundation are legendary. Not only did she raise awareness of breast cancer globally, she also inspired leading scientists to study the disease by funding ground-breaking research at renowned medical centers worldwide. I was inspired to create PASSION after hearing Evelyn’s husband, Leonard, lovingly announce his commitment to continuing her critically important work. They were in this fight together, and NEST Fragrances is pleased to join them in their efforts by supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation with PASSION."

"We are so grateful to Laura Slatkin and NEST Fragrances for creating this very special candle to benefit the Foundation. BCRF was Evelyn’s passion, and it is so fitting that such a beautiful candle has been created to honor that," said Leonard A. Lauder, BCRF Co-Chairman.

Housed in a pink translucent glass container complemented by a coordinating deep-pink-colored wax, PASSION combines the essences of blooming peony and dewy garden roses with warm sandalwood and a hint of flowering pittosporum, Evelyn Lauder’s beloved fragrance note. The box is adorned by a field of blooming pink peony flowers, an original design by Russian-born artist Alexander "Sasha" Solodukho. Pink is the color most commonly used to symbolize breast cancer awareness.

PASSION is available in an 8.1 oz. candle for $28 (SRP) and can be purchased at Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Sephora.com, specialty retail stores nationwide, and NESTFragrances.com. NEST Fragrances will donate 10-percent of the retail price of each PASSION candle purchased to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
