One Church // One Voice is, hereby, publicly decrying the recent violence against Christians, which has occurred in Kenya, and Pakistan

Martinez, California (PRWEB) September 24, 2013

"One Church // One Voice (Tearing down the walls between us...)," and its subsidiary organization, "Save America Gathering," http://www.saveamericagathering.com have issued a joint statement decrying the recent attacks against Christians in Pakistan and Kenya, and are appealing for global prayer by Christians and Messianic Jews. The following is an excerpt of the statement:

"One Church // One Voice is, hereby, publicly decrying the recent violence against Christians, which has occurred in Kenya, and Pakistan. The Kenyan incident, a terror attack in which, according to reports from Christian Broadcasting Network, http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2013/September/Gunmen-Unleash-Deadly-Attack-on-Nairobi-Mall/ Christians and non-Muslims were targeted, resulted in the loss of at least 62 lives; while the attack on the All Saints Church, in Peshawar, Pakistan, resulted in the deaths of 78. This followed violent mob riots in a Christian neighborhood of Lahore, Pakistan, in March, as reported in the New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/23/world/asia/pakistan-church-bombing.html?_r=0.. Fox News today broadcast reports on articles claiming potential "open season on Christians." http://www.foxnews.com/

"The current persecution of The Church has been scripturally foretold. Jesus, Himself, said: “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you…. If they persecuted Me they will persecute you… for they do not know the One who sent Me.” [John 15:19-21] But believers should not despair, for scriptures also state, in Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11″Blessed are you when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me. 12″Rejoice, and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. We must suppress our will, and act as we are told in Matthew 5:44: “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you." Remember, all is in God's timing, and The Lord, our God is moving, in His mystery, to establish His Church, renewed, to be the light on the hill that shows through the darkness, for all mankind. Therefore, "One Church // One Voice" is calling for all Churches and Messianic Synagogues and Assemblies to pray in unity and the power of Jesus Christ, this coming Sunday, September 29, 2013, against the violence plaguing followers of The Christ, Who is risen, and will come in judgment of the world. By doing so, we stand in the gap for those who are now suffering persecution; whether it be in Asia; or, the Middle East; or, Africa; or Europe; or the Pacific Islands and Australia; or North and South America, for it is our belief the that The Church is besieged by its enemies, the flesh, the world, and Satan, the downcast and fallen Lucifer, our nemesis and destroyer. We beg that Messianic Jewish believers pray on the upcoming Shabbat..."

The preceding, excerpted statement was composed by "One Church // One Voice"- Administration. "One Church // One Voice" has conducted a number of relief and ministry support activities, abroad; especially in persecution torn areas of Nigeria. The organization remains dedicated to the promotion of global Christian unity, for God's purposes.

Said Robert Berry, "One Church // One Voice" spokesperson and servant leader, "Believers in Jesus Christ must unite, now, in fervent prayers to The Lord, our God, against the repressive and violent persecutions which presently are breaking out, all around the world. It is by this power that we will overcome the flesh, the world, and the devil. Praise God, most High! "One Church // One Voice", and "Save America Gathering" today urge all Christians to join in prayer against our persecution, on Sunday, September 29, 2013. May God bless us all! As an organization, all of us at "One Church // One Voice" also mourn the heavy loss of life during the Washington, DC Naval Yard shootings."

The "Save America Gathering" led "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" has, today, reached day number 203. The current 100-day prayer segment, a prayer for mercy and forgiveness of The Church's shortcomings, is at day 48. The 555-day-long event is scheduled to end with "The Great Wave Offering," on September 11, 2014.
