Parts are currently available in low profile from 5.60x5.00x1.50mm to 5.60x4.80x3.00mm, low cost, RoHS compliant and lead-free SMD packages. The compact package sizes allow the beads to be placed close to the EMI source to fulfill space constraints. They offer superior EMI noise filtering over a wide frequency, ranging from several hundred MHz for broadband signal interfaces to GHz ranges for high frequency signal lines.
Parts with impedance as high as 90 ohms at 100MHz are available with low DC resistances down to 0.004 ohm, providing designers with a broad range of filtering options. A high frequency version for low GHz noise suppression with a high DC current rating up to 5A and 2-line/3-line ferrite bead array further enhances performance of the end products.
Standard applications include: notebooks, tablets, smart phones, cameras, DVD/Blu-ray players, LED TVs, motherboards, power supplies and modems.
