IPA advisors will begin marketing Cigna Individual and Family Plans health insurance products in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

Cigna and IPA Family (IPA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Independence Corp., a NASDQ listed corporation and a member of The IHC Group, announced today they have forged a new business relationship which will allow IPA Family advisors the opportunity to offer Cigna individual and family health insurance plans to IPA customers.

This relationship will expand IPA’s major medical health insurance product offerings, particularly in new markets like the state of California. “We found Cigna to be the perfect partner to expand our business in markets where we have not had products available in the past, said Dave Keeler, President and Chief Operating Officer of IPA Family.
