Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce the election of nine new member attorneys to the firm, effective January 1, 2013.
Robert C. Bigelow is a member in Dickinson Wright’s Nashville office. Robb previously clerked for the Honorable Juliet E. Griffin in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and his current practice focuses on the areas of labor & employment litigation, class action, commercial & business litigation, and music, sports & entertainment litigation. He is currently the President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Nashville Bar Association, the President-Elect of the PTO for Glendale Spanish Immersion Elementary School, and is on the Board of West End United Methodist Church, where he also sings in the Sanctuary Choir. In addition, Robb participates in the Nashville Pro Bono Program, Room In the Inn, and the Lambda Chi Alpha International Fraternity. He received his B.S., with honors, from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was the Vanderbilt Bar Association Student Body President.
Jason B. Castle is an attorney in the firm’s Phoenix office. Jason specializes in family law and criminal defense. His family law experiences include all facets of family law, including but not limited to, divorce, annulment, paternity, custody, property division business valuations and order of protection. His criminal practice focuses primarily on DUI and misdemeanor offenses; Jason was a prosecutor for the City of Phoenix prior to joining the Firm. Jason is an active member of several bar associations, including, the past Chair for the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section, President Elect for the Arizona Association of Family and Conciliation Court, and a member of the Arizona State Bar. Jason was named Pro Bono Attorney of the year in 2011 and Rising Star for 2012 and 2013 by the Southwest Super Lawyers publication. Jason received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati and his Law Degree from Case Western Reserve University.
Jill S. Ingber is an attorney in the firm’s Troy office. She focuses her practice on the areas of commercial and business litigation, business torts, real estate litigation, trademark and copyright infringement litigation, and creditor’s rights. Ms. Ingber is a member of the Oakland County and Federal Bar Associations. She is involved in JARC and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Ms. Ingber received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan and her J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School.
Axel Kindbom practices corporate/commercial law in the Firm’s Toronto office. He acts for public and private companies and counsels clients on all aspects of mergers & acquisitions, securities offerings, distressed investments and restructurings, venture capital finance, start-up and government funding and private equity. Mr. Kindbom is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Swedish Canadian Chamber of Commerce. He is Chairman of the Firm’s Continuing Professional Development Committee (Toronto) and the Swedish School of Toronto. Mr. Kindbom received his Canadian Legal Accreditation from the University of Toronto, his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and a B.A. from McGill University.
Christopher W. Kramer is an attorney in the firm’s Phoenix office. His practice emphasizes eminent domain litigation, primarily the representation of condemning authorities. Mr. Kramer has handled projects ranging from major urban freeway corridors to traffic interchanges and roadway expansions. He has condemned property for roads, bridges, transit, flood control, parks, public buildings, and utilities throughout Arizona. Mr. Kramer’s practice also includes assisting clients with right of way and property valuation issues arising during a project, from design through completion. He is a frequent presenter and speaker on Eminent Domain and related topics for numerous conferences and serves as Co-Chair of the bi-annual Arizona Condemnation Summit. He received his B.S. from Illinois State University and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.
Charles H. Oldham is an attorney in the firm’s Phoenix office. His primary area of practice is commercial litigation with a focus on real property and landlord tenant disputes as well as collection matters. Mr. Oldham has represented landlords and tenants in forcible entry and detainer cases and breach of lease cases. He also has experience in cases dealing with professional malpractice issues, business dissolutions, probate, and dissolution issues between unmarried co-habitants. Mr. Oldham has served as both lead and co-lead counsel in both jury and bench trials. He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and the American Bar Association. He received his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
Jodi Munn Schebel is an attorney in Dickinson Wright’s Detroit office. She focuses her practice on the areas of commercial & business litigation, insurance, and product liability & personal injury. Ms. Schebel is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. She is also a speaker and author writing the chapter on “Dismissals and Defaults” for the book, Michigan Civil Procedure. Ms. Schebel received her B.S., with honors, from Wayne State University and her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
John T. Schuring is an attorney in the firm’s Grand Rapids office. He focuses his practice on the areas of banking & financial services, corporate, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, and energy & sustainability. Mr. Schuring is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and the Fulton Heights Neighborhood Association. Mr. Schuring received his B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Darrell L. West is an attorney in the firm’s Nashville office. He focuses his practice in the areas of commercial & business litigation, class actions, labor and employment litigation, real estate litigation, and appellate proceedings. Mr. West is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
