Learn how to express yourself and release neck tension in a new workshop that YogaSoul leader and instructor Denise Bunch is hosting.

Bunch is putting on a workshop on the fifth chakra on Saturday, March 16, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The workshop is perfect for students who want to learn how to gain new insight into developing their practice so that they can heal and expand their body, mind and spirit.

In this course, students will learn from a discussion on the fifth chakra, associated asana practice, breath practice, meditation and relaxation. The fifth chakra is associated with self-expression and creativity. Physically, an imbalanced chakra can lead to neck tension, so learning about the chakra, its functions and tools for healing can be useful for the mind, body and spirit.

This is the fifth in a series on all seven workshops, but no prior experience or attendance is required. Any student can attend one workshop or all of them, and in no particular order.

“This series is a lovely way to see the process of yoga and focus students’ attention more deeply,” Bunch said.

Cost of the workshop is $25, and pre-registration is required for attendance. For any questions, e-mail info(at)yogasoul-center(dot)com.
