New York, NY (PRWEB) January 09, 2013
BLB released a statement commending the more than 300 restaurants for taking part in the celebration as the industry continues to bounce back following the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Running over three weeks, Restaurant Week has been celebrating New York restaurants for more than 20 years by connecting New Yorkers and restaurants over discounted three-course meals. Some restaurants are offering deals only on certain days or for certain meals, and all that information can be found at NYCgo.com, as well as a full-list of restaurants taking part and the option to make online reservations.
Bright Lights Business has enjoyed watching the celebration grow over the years and is excited to see some of the top restaurants taking part. New Yorkers are given a more affordable option for dining at some of New York's best high end restaurants as well as some city favorites with this festival and is a great way to sample the ever changing delectables that can be found in New York.
Started in 1992, Restaurant Week has grown from 95 restaurants offering a one-time event in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention to nearly 320 restaurants taking part in the twice per year festival. Among the restaurants taking part are EMM Group's Abe & Arthur's and Lexington Brass. Co-owned by Mark Birnbaum, EMM Group is known for setting the bar for style and atmosphere in both restaurants and nightclubs.
NYC Restaurant Week offers diners the option of discounted meals at more than 300 restaurants across the city, including some of the city's most coveted dining options. With three weeks to take advantage of the festival diners can choose to try out several new restaurants or keep going back to their favorites.
